Enter a magical world and experience Pan’s Labyrinth like never before, in-person and in 4K 3D at San Diego Comic-Con.

Be one of the first people in any realm to see the newly restored and upgraded 3D footage from Pan’s Labyrinth by attending the Pan’s Labyrinth 20th Anniversary Celebration at Parq in San Diego on July 24th.

Fans can join a special Pan’s Labyrinth Fetch Quest leading up to the celebration to receive a special, limited edition Pan’s Labyrinth poster. And the first 50 explorers to complete the Quest will gain access to an exclusive autograph session with Guillermo del Toro!

On Thursday, July 23rd, and Friday, July 24th, players must locate three iconic characters from the film – one evil, one pure of heart, and one with a name only the wind and the trees can pronounce.

To begin the game, pick up a fetch quest ticket designed by Franciso Ruiz Velasco (Frankenstein, Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel Comics).

Players will find the tickets at the Toynami booth and the Insights Edition booth on the floor of Comic Con. Questers may also receive a ticket from the first character they locate or print out your own using this file.

Characters can be found inside the convention center as well as throughout the Gaslamp Quarter so make sure to carry the ticket at all times.

Complete the game and claim your limited edition poster at Parq Nightclub (615 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101 – 6th Street Entrance) on Friday, July 24th. Posters available while supplies last. Participants must be 18 years or older to claim the poster at Parq Nightclub.

Best of all, the first 50 players to finish the game will receive access to a private poster signing with Guillermo del Toro during the 3D celebration.

And everyone that completes the quest will have priority access to join the fun and view the newly upgraded footage at the Pan’s Labyrinth 3D Experience. The party starts at 7 p.m. so do not waste time on the quest!

The bravest explorers will want to skip the section of the Fetch Quest Guide. Everyone else can read this portion to figure out when and where to find The Faun, The Captain, and our hero, Ofelia.

You will be able to collect your stamp from The Faun on Thursday, July 23rd. You will only be able to find The Captain and Ofelia on Friday, July 24th.

Find characters roaming K St. and L St. between Fourth Ave. and Sixth Ave. Please refer to the map below for reference.

Characters stationed indoors can be found at the Toynami booth (#3329) or the Insight Editions booth (#2129).

Thursday

Find The Faun outdoors between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Or search the Comic-Con floor between 1p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Friday

Find the Faun outdoors between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. and indoors between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

The Captain can be found outdoors between 10:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. and indoors between 10:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Ofelia will guide your way from the convention center to Parq Nightclub. Find her on Sixth Street between 3:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

Is the game free to play?

Yes! Players can play the game free of charge.

If I don’t have time to complete the quest, can I still attend the premiere?

Yes. The premiere is open to all but everyone who completes the quest will receive priority access to the event.

Will there be any celebrities or special guests at the premiere?

No promises but… you will recognize people at the premiere, and you’ll want to stick around afterwards.

Do I need a Comic Con pass to join the fetch quest?

Nope! All questers can complete the game in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego and collect their posters at Parq Nightclub.

How will I know where to find the roaming characters?

You can always start the game at the Toynami booth and the Inside Edition booth. Keep your eyes peeled for the Faun all day on Thursday the 23th and Friday the 24th. The Captain can only be found on the 24th.
